About ACCA
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification is a globally recognised accountancy qualification. It is a badge of quality and professionalism, and ensures that your knowledge and skills are of the highest professional standard.
Entry Requirements
You need a minimum of Czech maturita exam, or entrance into University (or 3 GCSEs and two A levels in five separate subjects including maths and English) or equivalent qualifications to start the ACCA qualification.
If you don’t have the minimum qualifications you can start by registering for Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) and study for one or all of the entry-level qualifications. There are three qualifications, and you can start at any level.
The ACCA Qualification consists of 4 modules, grouped into two levels:
Applied Knowledge level (FFA, FMA, FBT)
The ACCA Applied Knowledge level is made up of three Papers (FBT Business and Technology, FMA Management Accounting, and FFA Financial Accounting, formerly F1-F3 and AB)
Applied Knowledge module introduces you to the core areas of financial and management accounting as well as general business principles and theories. They are assessed by Computer Based Exams (available when it suits you).
While we provide courses for these exams, for syllabuses and past exam questions please go to the official ACCA website:
A diploma for Foundations in Accountancy is available after these three exams are completed, along with a short online ethics module.
Applied Skills (LW, PM, TX, FR, AA, FM)
Applied Skills level consists of 6 papers (used to be called F5-F9) covering a range of core areas of Finance including Tax, Financial and Management Accounting, Financial Reporting and Audit. It is positioned at an intellectual level equivalent to a Bachelors degree, and such degree is optionally available once you pass these exams. They are assessed by computer-based exams, on a specific day in March, June, September and December. LW is only available as a Computer Based Exam on any date.
