AICPA & CIMA Future of Finance roundtable discussion took place last week in Prague. These roundtables are a part of a major research project which CIMA carries out every 4-5 years, exploring the future state of the finance profession and its wider ecosystem. From automation, through hybrid working, to growing focus on ESG – it was encouraging to hear Central and Eastern European leaders voice their expectations of what finance will look like in a few years, what new (or old!) competencies may be needed – and what it could mean for the development of finance qualifications.
