Our aim is to give all participants an introduction to Project Management theory and practice. We would draw on practical experience from a number of projects to highlight practical areas where participants are most likely to experience issues.
Attendees participate in practical team activities using MTa™ building components and then exchange extensive facilitated feedback on how they performed. This ensures that learning outcomes are specific to each individual and relevant to the workplace. Other ways to learn by doing include roleplays, solving real-life case study problems and discussing specific issues from own projects and experience.
The most important aspect of these practical exercises is that attendees have a chance to experiment in a safe environment where they can leave their comfort zone, try something new and “fail” without fear of any real-life consequences for their company.
Project Management Principles
This module will be based on the models used in PMP exam. Participants will understand the inputs, outputs and methods involved in key processes of project management as defined in the PMP certification project model. However, we will focus on practical application of the topics in specific situations.
